Description of that level
"Mega Man Mini" is my mini-Mega Man game. My first full run is 41:57.16, including menus, deaths, and loading, though I made an edit afterwards to make a couple sections easier. Speedrun definitely could've been better... I had so much fun developing this one, and it's probably my best game to date. Almost official quality in some sections. LOADING LAG WARNING! And the beginning of Spear Man's stage has slowdown, too...
Main Weakness Hints:
Gem Man- The weakness is cool because it can pierce Gem Man's rubble.
Clock Man- Ooooh shiny! With some good sparkles too!
Thunder Man- Quickly flashing lights aren't in this level; Thunder Man doesn't like them.
Winter Man- I'd be shocked if he ever went to Egypt to see the pyramids...
Dash- The city usually has power outages in winter...
Scorch Man- You ever wonder why lava doesn't splash in a way like water? I guess since it's a non-Newtonian fluid...
Missile Man- These bombs thankfully don't spontaneously combust, but they are heat sensitive...
Spear Man- It'd be the bomb if you figured out the weakness before I even told you.
Flood Man- Flood Man really loves bubbles. Soap bubbles are actually what make him look sharp.
Road Defense/Wily 1 Boss- It's raining; it's pouring; Road Defense started snoring. But more accurately he slipped on the water and bonked his head...
Wily Machine M/Wily 2 Boss- CUT! The filming of that scene went well! Good use of the sharp weaponry! But there weren't going to be any cutscenes, sorry.
Wily Capsule M/Final Boss- Don't worry. You won't have to give chase while fighting Wily- You might need to dash, or rather slide, though.
Challenges:
Gem Man- Jump on every Lift Platform.
TIP- You can go back to past Lift Platforms and jump on them.
Clock Man- Beat the level within 2 Minutes and 30 Seconds.
TIP- Sliding and fighting the boss with his weakness will save time.
Thunder Man- Beat the boss without taking ANY damage.
TIP- All you need is the weakness...
Winter Man- Destroy every Chill Block.
TIP- Using Gem Man's Weapon will really help.
Dash- Don't attack a single Metall.
TIP- Try jumping over the Mets.
Scorch Man- Don't trigger any Falling Platforms.
TIP- Rush will REALLY help here.
Missile Man- Beat the level without blowing up a single Explosive Crate.
TIP- Try to only use the Buster before the boss, and use Rush.
Spear Man- Open every closed Plantform.
TIP- The top route dosen't have any Plantforms, so you need to go the bottom route.
Flood Man- In the second area the Rapids/flowing water's found (The long area at the bottom of the stage), don't fall into the Rapids.
TIP- Be sure to time your jumps and shots carefully.
Wily 1- Defeat EVERY enemy. Destroying Bomb Flier's cloud counts.
TIP- Clock Man's weapon will be able to cause good damage here.
Wily 2- Take NO damage.
TIP- Just be careful...
These are just optional bonus challenges you can do in each level. The name at the beginning is where you can do each challenge.
